On Friday, 15 November, The Academy of Sound Engineering (ASE) hosted the Culture Clash Presents: Fortnight To Black Friday year-end party for its students. The venue – Kitcheners Carvery & Bar in Braamfontein.
From free entrance to students, drink specials and half price burgers to 10 DJ’s specifically booked for this event, it was sure to be an awesome night! And the turnout was better than expected, with not only ASE students joining the party, but the public and regular Kitcheners patrons coming in and dancing the night away to the live DJ’s.
Culture Clash (the official ASE student event organisers) has made it a tradition to host an end-of-year party for the ASE students going strong for more than 10 years now. And on Friday, they once again did not disappoint. The doors opened at 16:00, with the first DJ (Unscene) starting his set at 17:00 and with the last DJ (C.H.B.) starting at 02:00 in the morning, it seemed like this party would go on forever!
We would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to Kitcheners for their help and support in keeping the Culture Clash tradition going, the ASE staff that organised this event, the DJ’s, as well as all the students who joined us to make this a night to remember.
